Current Update:
The drawing above was done by Elliot and features a very cute Yuffie.
Heyo,
This week We've got a lot of new art, including work from Reva, Elliot, Rai, Lil' Rob, Jay Manney, RF Switched, and Normal Deviant. I can't really think of a lot to write about, so I thought I might write about the various phases each artist seems to be going through. --Reva, as its pretty obvious, is on a wild west lil' cub phase, which I guess is kind of like Picasso's blue period, but with tumbleweeds and such. I asked him about it and its apparently commissions based off another drawing he did. --Elliot is a really really good artist, but he needs to draw more :P (one of the few artist who draws teh boys). Always meant to ask Elliot, is that girl with the anchor from Guilty Gear? --Rai is pretty new to me, or at least, I haven't known him as long as I have some of the other resident artists, but he has a good grasp of the anime style and in one of the drawings he did this week you can see the contour lines (don't know if that's the actual phrase) marking how he's drawing the form; I like that, it shows he's working on his perspective, and given the work I've seen from him in recent months, he's getting good fast. --Lil' Rob has always done cute artwork with his various characters, and in particular Petunia and Lily, they're my fav. --Jay Manney has had a long standing tradition of sailor moon and sonic art, I've seen a lot of improvement in his art in the time he's been hanging around here. --RF Switched never begrudges me the fact that I break one of my own cardinal rules every time I see his art... I usually post it before asking him about it. IT'S TOO GOOD! A common element in all my favorite pictures within this community is the start of a story that can be told without words in a drawing. More often then not, just by looking at one of RF's drawings, you can see there is more going on in the drawing then lines and ink. Not only that, but he draws a damn cute cat-girl, which seems to be what he's done most last month. --Normal Deviant has been catching onto what I just mentioned, putting a story into a drawing, and he's also been drawing some interesting fetish-type themes lately (as I mentioned in a previous update). One of the things that I've always liked about ND is that his art hasn't recieved the immediate grand welcome that some of the other artists here get, and rather then cry and quit, he's doubling his efforts, drawing more and trying new styles. I respect that, and its already yielding some good results.
There, that feels a little bit better. This week I'm trying to make the update less about me and my busy life and more about the community to which this site is devoted. I apologize if anyone disagrees with my views above, but I figured it'd be nice for some of the artists to see some more individual attention in an update instead of just 'so-and-so drew two pics!... yay!'. Before I head out, this'll be my last update for three months. I'll be back from Australia toward the end of August. I'll still check the forum when I can, but I won't be in a position to upload files when I need too. I'll be working on my stories as much as I can =D.

Last Update:
Felicia above was drawn by RF_Switched and I just had to post it given that X-Edge is finally being translated to English. Come on... Felicia, Morigan, Lilith and Etna in a fighting game together? WIN!
Heyo,
I'm lazy! Yah... sorry about that. Work has been craptacular lately and I've had no time for anything. Thankfully I'm back in Japan for a moment, not sick, and generally avoided no more then the usual gaijin around the office. In some good news, JayJ has been showing me up regularly in accomplishing weekly updates. So good on him... for making me look bad =P
This week we have new art from Carotte, RF, JD (including two comic pages), Normal_Deviant, Rai, Victoriah and Lil' Rob. No new stories, but working on that still. Carotte is opening a French Version of the forum for the French fans of FTT. Ooo and if you get a chance, check out the forum misc section for possible game developments. Mugi has started a game (the more that JayJ and I promote it, the more likely SOMETHING will hopefully get done *pokes Remmy*). I'm going to continue my secret game as well in quiet competition. Maybe if my motivation holds out, we'll see the completion of two games in the near future?
Dreyer is taking over updates once again while I head out for my trek across Australia this summer. I leave June 10th, and Dreyer will be taking over for me till late August. All that said, see you guys next friday!

Update Before Last:
The drawing above was done by Reva.
Heyo,
Lots and lots of art this week. Geo G.D. has been drawing a new comic called 'FTT Fighters' and there are 12 new pages this week. Reva left some colorful art (including the adorable pic above), a pic from Rai (and a new gallery), a pic from Nokuma (you need to draw more Nokuma, you disappear for months at a time =P), a pic from Normal Deviant (who has been branching out into interesting sub-fetishes), four from little Rob and two from Carotte. Lots of art, still working on stories >.<
Sorry for the update delay... I got hit by the busy train. Work picked up, I got another travel assignment, I got sick, and all sorts of random crap. First off, I leave Thursday of next week for the island of Borneo and the Sultanate of Brunei. I've heard the weather will be great, but that Alcohol is prohibited and there is not a single night club in the country... not that I'm complaining, just find it interesting. I'll only be gone a week, but I leave for Australia in early June. My trip to Australia will be a little different too, I won't be in the previously listed towns, I'll be in Cairns, Queensland.
At the end of April I got a bit sick with 'flu like' symptoms just as the world disease scare was starting. I scarred the hell out of all my co-workers. The gaijin having swine flu was an immediate rally cry for extreme zenophobia. To date, there has not been a recorded case of Swine flu in Japan, and the country is collectively holding its breath since the Japanese are completely disease paranoid (and packed in like sardines to a country the size of California). To be honest, there isn't much to worry about, public sanitation is good and the health care is rated amongst the best in the world... when I was sick it turns out I had some type of 'Acute pharyngitis' which is a fancy way of saying sore throat with minor flu symptoms. I pinned my doctor's note with disease description to my desk so my co-workers would stop using mass disinfectants and antiseptics on everything I own. You've never seen a bigger smile then when I started wearing a surgeon's mask as a curtesy to not get anyone else sick.
My last bit of news was visiting aboard the HMCS Protecteur last weekend. It's a fueling ship of the Canadian navy and I was invited by a friend, and was entirely not ready for what was in store. I was treated to Moose milk, which is a gallon of ice cream with about seven different alcohols poured on it to the point of melting. It's like straight motor oil... don't drink it sitting down! Somehow in the craziness that insued, I chipped my front two teeth. Blah... still had fun though. First non-travel related injury.
